Meeting minutes October 16 2013

1. Reminders about important dates:
-Skyzone end of midterm get-together at 2:00 pm on Sunday Oct. 27
-abstracts due for the colloquium
-Halloween bake sale in Riddell Hall 10-2 (ish) Oct. 30
-Trick or Treat for Winnipeg harvest 6:00 pm Oct. 31 (Ask Arielle or Leyna for the address or send an email to uwclassics@gmail.com)
-Colloquium in 1L07 at 2:30 on Friday Nov. 8, Please come out and watch even if you aren't presenting :)
-Student Appreciation afternoon Nov. 29. We will likely be going out to Garbonzo's after.

2. Hoodies! Send in your ideas for what the hoodie should say or what picture should be on it by Oct. 22. After that date we will put up a poll for 3 days to decide. The person who came up with the winning idea gets their hoodie free!


3. Tote bags! Everyone seems interested in ordering a bunch of tote bags for the group. People want a more heavy duty one. We will be picking a style soon. Think of what colour you would like for it to be.

4. Common Room inventory. We are still working out the date. Likely we will clean out the fridge on the same day. More info to come.

5. We are thinking of talking to High Schools about the UW Classics Department in January.
